Buon Appetito - Animations for an RPG

Buon Appetito is an RPG made by 18 students within 3 months. Play as Edzia, hunting sea monsters to cook them before the Carnival in Venice!
My main role in this project was animation again. The challenge this time was the art style, much more complex than what I'm used to, but it went well! After making frame-by-frame 2D animations for the monsters and Edzia, I gave the sprites to my partner Héléna who cleaned and colorized them. After that, I integrated the sprite sheets into the Unreal Engine. I even worked with some programmers to facilitate the item throwing and earning time on the production. I also worked on the game's intro and some design concepts

This game was pretty fun to make, and I'm very happy how the animations turned out in the final game!

The game's intro, inspired by the Wind Waker. I got the idea to use the already existing legend of Venice's foundation as a base to the game's lore
