The Red Door of Moss Town

Wani'A is a space explorer who wants to save the last remains of forgotten civilizations from various planets.
For her last adventure, she crashed onto Earth in a weird place. Now she has to find some electrical energy to get back to her home! The signal to get energy leads the way to a strange place in the mountains.
It seems the entirety of the village and its inhabitants were covered by moss! There's also this strange red portal which was the only thing spared from the curse, and the signal comes from inside! However, a Demon is hosting it and won't let Wani'a cross it...What does he want? Is he responsible for the town's curse?
This illustration means to represent a scene from a fake video game. I made some new stylistic choices for his one, notably for the vegetation. The painting was inspired by a real Chinese village named Houtouwan!
